Michael Salenieks

Michael Salenieks is a pragmatic and conscientious professional. He engages the market both analytically and creatively and takes a principled long view approach to relationships. Clients appreciate Michael’s straightforward communication style and know that he looks out for their best interests in every transaction. To serve each client to the highest standards, Michael actively collaborates with asset and geography specific experts across Lennard. Select commercial real estate experience includes:

• Successfully representing owners of industrial, retail, land, and office assets in sale assignments
• Negotiating new leases and lease renewals for office, retail, and industrial landlords and facilitating tenant relocations
• Brokering a joint venture between a landowner and developer for a condominium project 
• Selling a severed lot with an old hotel on site for conversion to apartments
• Assisting the landlord of a 150,000 SF office building with ongoing leasing 

Community involvement is a central element of Michael’s practise. Over the years he has sat on the Board of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Engage, been a member of the Urban Land Institute, a Developing Leader with the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, as well as served on his local Chamber of Commerce’s Municipal and Provincial Advisory Committees.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys being a husband and father, creating visual art, and escaping into the wild every now and then!
