Walter entered the commercial real estate industry in 1994 as a research analyst, building on his academic training in geography and urban development. He quickly transitioned into brokerage, and with over 30 years of experience, has built a reputation for helping clients understand and apply sound real estate analysis in their decision-making.

He specializes in the sale and leasing of industrial buildings and land, representing both landlords and tenants as well as sellers and buyers. Walter is known for delivering consistent, results-driven service through thorough analysis, patience, and close attention to detail, ensuring his clients have the insight needed to make informed, optimal real estate decisions.

His primary focus is the western Greater Toronto Area industrial market, including Hamilton. A significant portion of his business comes from repeat clients and referrals, ranging from national and international corporations to privately held, family-owned companies and individual landlords.

Prior to joining Lennard Commercial Realty, Walter was with Cushman & Wakefield.

Walter holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Geography and Urban Development from the University of Western Ontario. Outside of his professional life, he is an avid endurance athlete. In addition to hockey and golf, he enjoys running, cycling, and swimming, and has competed in numerous marathons, triathlons, and Ironman events, including the Boston Marathon and the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii.
