Background

Prior to joining Lennard Commercial Realty, Joe Cianfarani, with more than 27 years of professional real estate experience, served on the Board of Directors for the Building Owner and Managers Association (BOMA) and spent more than 13 years representing many Canadian institutional landlords, while acquiring extensive experience in all aspects of commercial real estate. His responsibilities included management, leasing, and development of the real estate holdings, including asset management planning.

Joe started his career, in the early eighties, at Enterprise Group Property Ltd. (Brookfield), where for five and a half years he developed expertise in property management and leasing.

He then spent eight years at Penreal Advisors Ltd. as Regional Manager, for properties within Ontario. His gambit of responsibilities included leasing, operations, acquisitions, and dispositions. Under his astute management, the portfolio grew to over eight million sq.ft. and $250 million in assets.

As a real estate professional, Joe Cianfarani has assisted many companies in developing solid and practical business plans. He has also successfully renegotiated many existing leases having substantial term remaining, from small entrepreneurial businesses to large multi-national corporations.
Joe has represented many space users including: Bell Mobility, Bell Aliant, Shoppers Drug Mart, Trillium Health Centre, Ontario Association of Community Living, Philips, BDP, Thin Data, Congress Financial, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Pulse, Kinark Child and Family Services, Sanofi-Synthelabo, Uniglobe Travel, Cole Engineering, Resource Environmental Associates, Harris Corporation, Astral Media, Cundari, Ontario Teacher’s Pension Plan, and The Washington Post.

Joe Cianfarani graduated from college with the Real Property Administrative (RPA) degree.
