Adrian Ransome joined the Office Leasing team at Lennard Commercial Realty Ltd. in 2001, following 4 years with the Royal Bank's Real Estate Investment Banking and Corporate Finance arm, RBC DS Marcil, now known as RBC Capital Markets Real Estate Group. At RBC DS Marcil, Adrian was involved as a key member of the team that was responsible for valuing, marketing and negotiating the disposition of office, retail and industrial portfolios on behalf of their clients. Several portfolios of significance were the Trizec Hahn office portfolio, Hammerson retail and office portfolio, and Laing retail portfolio. Adrian was also involved in the structuring and evaluating of several sale-leasebacks, including the Bell Canada assets and the Royal Bank assets, where new leases were negotiated and then the assets disposed.

Previous to his experience at DS Marcil, Adrian spent 5 years at Royal LePage Commercial Inc. as a member of the consulting arm. His responsibilities revolved around the analysis of leases, corporate covenants and their effect on value for significant portfolios across Canada. Adrian brings his experience in understanding how leasing affects ownership values, strong analytical background with a degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, plus his proven negotiation skills to Lennard.
