Dean has been active as a commercial realtor since 1980, initially working in office leasing. In the mid 1980’s Dean developed a relationship with TD Bank, who had him focus most of his attention on completing acquisitions for new branches, sales of closed branches, and office and retail leasing. Through this experience Dean realized his strength as an off market specialist, and from this built his predominant business.
He has since assisted clients in similar ways, including the Ontario Lottery Corporation, the University of Toronto, Loblaws and the City of Toronto.
Dean’s client list includes banks, government agencies, private investors, pension funds and REITs. Rather than focusing on one sector of the industry, Dean works with his client’s acquisition criteria to locate off market transactions.
He is the author of The Q™ Investment Report for Lennard, regarded as the best written report on the Toronto commercial real estate market by his peers.
Dean is a graduate of Concordia University and has two girls that he has groomed to support him in retirement.
